How To Let Go, Lessons from a Tabebuia Roseo-Alba, Verse by Creedence, The Jungle Paper

I sat for hours watching
how you let go –
so simply,
of the blossoms and things
which were once
the most magnificent of you.
sitting, watching and praying,
to The One Who Knows
buried deep in your dark bark bones
that some day I’ll know how to –
how to let go –
softly,
of the things
which were once
the most magnificent of me too.

A teaching I received from watching buds fall from a Tabebuia roseo-alba tree.

WORDS & IMAGE by Creedence.

DISCLAIMER the flowers used in these images are not from the Tabebuia roseo-alba tree, by the time I returned to it to take these photographs it had let go of all its pink blossoms already.
